Can I get free samples? I'd like to try the product out first.
Icon Rocklear can only be installed by trained & certified installers. Icon Rocklear has an intricate and proprietary install process, and needs to be installed under certain temperature and humidity controlled conditions.
If you haven’t been trained and certified, it’s very easy (and likely) you’ll achieve a poor outcome and damage your vehicle.
We want to ensure Icon Rocklear is installed correctly – which is why it is only available to Certified Installers. If you’re interested in becoming a Certified Installer, please submit an application.
How does Icon Rocklear compare against ceramic / graphene coatings?

Does Icon Rocklear go on top of PPF?
No, Icon Rocklear is designed and formulated to bond directly to the vehicle’s painted surface – making it a decades-long investment that’s installed once. Zero upkeep, maintenance, or any of the tedious and expensive steps that come with other coatings.
Can PPF go on top of Icon Rocklear?
Once the first 30 days have passed from the date of the coating install, PPF can be installed on top of the surfaces protected with Icon Rocklear.
The added bonus here is that the customer / client never loses their investment in the coating.
If Icon Rocklear gets damaged, does it need to be removed, paint corrected, and reinstalled like ceramics, graphene coatings, and PPF?
With traditional coatings and PPF, if the coating/film gets damaged, it needs to be stripped/removed from the affected panel(s). Then, there’s usually some form of paint correction required, followed by a reapplication/reinstallation of the coating or film.
With Icon Rocklear, a light buff is all that’s required, followed by another layer of Icon Rocklear reapplied on that panel, and you’re good to go.
No removal, no paint correction, etc. required – saving costs for the customer and labour for the installer.
That’s just one of the many things that makes Icon Rocklear so unique.
Can ceramics / graphene coating go on top of Icon Rocklear?
Yes – after the first 30 days, however Icon Rocklear is tested and proven to be 30% glossier (enhanced brilliance) than ceramics & graphene coatings.
Applying ceramics & graphene coatings on top of Icon Rocklear would dull the shine, which is why it wouldn’t make sense to do so.
Does Icon Rocklear go on all the surfaces of the vehicle?
Icon Rocklear is compatible with painted & clear coated surfaces. It is not compatible with chrome, powder coating, plastic/vinyl trim, fabric, leather, and glass.
We recommend installing Icon Rocklear on all the painted surfaces of the vehicle, and offering other protection services on the non-compatible areas of the vehicle.
What are the annual maintenance or ongoing maintenance costs?
Absolutely nothing. Unlike ceramics and graphene coatings that require annual recoats – which cost time and money – Icon Rocklear requires zero annual maintenance, upkeep, ongoing maintenance, etc.
Once it has been installed and there are no issues within 30 days, there’s nothing else to worry about.

Icon Rocklear’s warranty is fully transferrable, and we encourage dealerships to add it to a vehicle’s CarFax report for added assurance and peace of mind to the end customer/client.
Do you train our F&I and/or sales team on selling Icon Rocklear?
Absolutely. We’ll come in and provide comprehensive sales training for your staff so you can focus on increasing gross profits.
What is the curing process?
Details on the aftercare (curing) process can be found here.
While it takes 30 days for Icon Rocklear to achieve 100%, the vehicle can still be driven during that time.
If a vehicle gets wet during the first 7 days, we advise against drying it with a towel, brush, etc and just letting it air dry.
Your customer / client has 18 months to schedule a free inspection at one of our certified installation facilities in Calgary, to ensure the coating has cured properly and there are no issues with the coating.
If there are any issues due to the install, we’ll cover that at no cost to you or the customer/client.
Any product failures or potential issues we need to know about?
Since it’s creation in 2016 (in Alberta), Icon Rocklear has had zero product failures or warranty issues. The only way something can go wrong is during the prep, install, or curing process. This is why the Dealership Program is structured to remove that risk from your end – our certified wholesale install facilities handle the prep, install, and curing process.
